Alexander Van Parys & Tom Joostens are doing research about parallelization of algorithms on a GPU (graphics card) using CUDA from NVIDIA. GPU’s are designed to process massive amounts of data in a parallel way, with CUDA they can be used to run any application that requires a lot of data processing.
The subject of Jonas is making a MS polymer based adhesive for automotive applications with a special focus on biocomposites and how environmental friendly they are.
Geert-Jan and Bavo are creating some plug-ins to extend Qt Creator (a cross-platform IDE) with some extra features. These features include an improved version of the Subversion plug-in and some extra refactoring tools.
